Following in 1973, he further honed his expertise by attaining his B.Com. Hons from the University of Johannesburg, with a dedicated focus on Operations Research and Transport Economics, while simultaneously working during a 3-year contract period at Transnet Head Office in Johannesburg.
The culmination of Hennie’s educational pursuits came in 1974 when he earned his B.Compt Hons. degree from UNISA. This comprehensive academic foundation prepared him for his distinguished career in the world of finance.
In 1980, he achieved the pinnacle of his profession, earning the title of Chartered Accountant and attaining membership to both the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).
His career continued to flourish at Pim Goldby following the merger of Goldby, Compton & McKelvie, and Pim Whitely in 1981, marking a significant milestone in his professional development. In 1984, Hennie embarked on a secondment to the New York office, gaining invaluable global exposure. During this period of heightened demand and intensive work in a dynamic international environment, he continued to refine his skills and broaden his worldwide outlook, making substantial contributions to his career advancement.
His dedication to excellence elicited his appointment as a partner at Pim Goldby in 1984, where he was part of the merger of Deloitte and Pim Goldby (PG), involving the association of Touche Ross with PG in 1991. It was in 1995 that Hennie initiated a remarkable career move, co-founding Ransome Russouw, a medium-sized audit practice alongside two esteemed colleagues, one being his twin brother who passed away in 2021. Through the years, Hennie’s commitment to the profession has remained unwavering, reflecting his passion for delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.
With a distinguished academic background, including a B.Compt Hons. degree from Unisa and a BCom Accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg, Jarred holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Auditor.
His career began during his article period at Ransome Russouw, during which he showcased exemplary dedication and meticulous attention to detail, leading to a well-deserved appointment as Director in 2016. Jarred’s extensive professional experience includes overseeing every aspect of medical scheme audits, from navigating intricate legislative requirements to shaping audit strategy.

Holding a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Hons from UNISA; André commenced his journey into the world of auditing as a SAICA trainee at Ransome Russouw in 2013, where he proudly attained qualification as a Chartered Accountant in April 2016.
Following this, he became eligible to register as a Registered Auditor in October 2020, after completing the rigorous Audit Development Program mandated by the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors. He was duly registered with the IRBA in June 2021. Over the years, his active contributions to audit engagements across diverse industries have enriched his understanding of legislative and business intricacies.
His commitment to the profession and continuous development have been the driving force behind his ascent to the position of Director and Partner within our esteemed firm. Throughout his career, André has taken the lead in various capacities, serving as a team leader in various engagements and agreed-upon procedures, as well as having a keen interest and understanding of complex corporate and group restructurings.

Christo’s academic achievements include a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting Sciences, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences (CTA) from the University of South Africa. Additionally, he holds a B.Com Accountancy degree from North-West University.
Before taking on his current position as Director, Christo served as an Audit Manager, accumulating valuable experience during his tenure as a SAICA Article Clerk / Trainee Accountant and as an Assistant to the audit team. His career path reflects continuous growth and a deep commitment to making significant contributions to the field of auditing and finance.
