We have an experienced audit team that specialises in external audits, independent reviews, internal audits, agreed-upon procedures and compilations of annual financial statements. Our core focus is the small to medium enterprise sector (high and lower risk engagements).
We perform audits of (but are not limited to):

- Legal and medical practices;
- Trusts;
- Non-profit organisations;
- Registered public benefit organisations;
- Estate agencies;
- Public schools;
- Medical aid schemes (we are approved by the Council for Medical Schemes).
Does my company need to be audited?
Not all companies require an auditor to be appointed and in terms of section 90 of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008, only a public company or a state-owned company must appoint an auditor upon its incorporation and each year after that at the company’s annual general meeting.
In addition, the regulations to the Act provide that companies which are not public or state-owned companies must have their financial statements audited if it is in the public interest to do so and if the company meets the criteria prescribed in the Regulations.
